January Newsletter - New Year, New Programs, Same Glorious Clinic 😇

Don't miss all the news and updates coming from our clinic!

Welcome 2020

Happy New Year! Our clinic has noticed toward the end of the year that a lot of our volunteers are not eating dinner; therefore, as a clinic, we have decided to no longer serve dinner during our Thursday night free clinic. Instead, we will provide healthy snacks, water, soft drinks, etc. There will be special occasions where dinner will be provide and we will do our best to let volunteers know when that will be.

On a more exciting note, WE HAVE A DATE FOR THE 12TH ANNUAL BOWL TO HELP FUNDRAISER! Please mark your calendars for Saturday, August 29, 2020 2:00 PM-6:00 PM. We will be having it at Columbus Square Bowling Palace; formal invitation and more information to follow in upcoming months.

Platform Brewing Co. Nonprofit Tuesdays

Platform Brewing Co. partners with a local Nonprofit each Tuesday and donate $1 per beer sold that night back to the organization. Please mark January 28th, 2020 on your calendar and join us for a special event at Platform Brewing Co. where the proceeds go to our clinic! We look forward to seeing you there.

Columbus Public Health: Immunizations

Immunizations will be offered on Thursday, February 6th and 20th! The vaccinations that will be offered for administration are as follows: flu vaccine, MMR, Tdap, and Hepatitis A shots. The shots will be available between 2pm - 4:30 pm and anyone in the clinic can get a vaccination at no cost.

Physicals will be held between 12pm-2pm on Tuesdays, while TB skin testing will still be 10am-2pm.

Acupuncture program launch:

This is an appointment based program where patients will schedule their visit ahead of time. The program allows for 7 patients to be seen during the hours of 2pm-5pm. Patients will work with staff and/or volunteers to arrange the time for their visit.

Call out for volunteers: If any volunteers would like to dedicate their time into helping us fully launching our physical exam program we would appreciate it!
