Welcome Allison!
Please join Helping Hands in welcoming our new operations manager, Allison Smith! Allison grew up in Columbus, Ohio, but she still finds that there is much to experience in the city. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at her church, going on runs with her dog, and spending time with her family. We are excited to learn more about Allison and see all that she will bring to Helping Hands!
Welcome Jacob!
We would also like to recognize our new summer intern, Jacob Charlton! He is a rising junior at the Ohio State University, where he is majoring in public management and minoring in public health and Latinx studies. His hobbies include public policy, watching TV, and volunteering. A fun fact about Jacob is that he has 10 houseplants!
Thank You Franklin Park Conservatory Volunteers
A group of volunteers from the Franklin Park Conservatory volunteered to help set up our community garden this month! We can't thank them enough for all their help. Our garden beds are full of vegetable seedlings that are growing every day.
HealthyU 2021
It isn't too late to join the first session of HealthyU this year! This session addresses chronic pain and is led by certified HealthyU leaders who can help you learn how to manage chronic pain on a day-to-day basis. Please see the flyer for registration details.
