Welcome Back Tuesday Physical Exams!
As of September 29th, we have officially resumed physical exams! They are offered every Tuesday from 10 AM to 12:30 PM by appointment or walk-in. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call 614-262-5094. We are grateful to be serving our patients with free physical exams once again!
Call for Community Garden Volunteers
We are still looking for community garden volunteers! We are hoping to start a community garden next year, and the produce harvested would be offered to patients at the clinic. If you are interested in volunteering as the garden project manager or as a gardener, please email nliu@helpinghandsfreeclinic.org. No prior experience is necessary!
Women's Health Program Beginning in November
We are so excited to to announce that we are starting a brand-new Women's Health Program in November! We will be offering pap smears, pelvic exams, and clinical breast exams. Stay on the lookout for updates!
COVID-Safe Halloween Ideas
Instead of trick-or-treating in the usual sense this year, here are some COVID-safe alternative ideas:
Candy scavenger hunt
Outdoor costume parade
Virtual spooky movie night
Decorating pumpkins outside
Volunteer of the Month: Dan Lesman
Dan Lesman is one of our dedicated student volunteers who you may run into on a clinic day. He always goes above and beyond for Helping Hands and helps out wherever and whenever he can. A fun fact about Dan is he uses a shoe horn every day!
