Lack of access to appropriate medical care has been prevalent in the Central Ohio community for some time.  According to the United States Census Bureau, the uninsured rate for those under the age of 65 and living in Franklin County, Ohio is 8.9 percent (2021).   Even more recently, the Franklin County HealthMap2022 indicated that over 200,000 Franklin County residents live below the Federal Poverty Level and 8 percent of our Franklin County community members, approximately 105,000 people, are without health insurance (2022).  With so many community members lacking medical resources, Helping Hands Health and Wellness Center strives to provide them with high-quality, comprehensive medical care. 

 

Our clinic needs financial donations to help us serve our patients.  Donations to Helping Hands Health and Wellness Center are used for a number of purposes; monetary donations help us keep the lights on, keep our rent paid, and keep medications on-hand.  By donating to Helping Hands Health and Wellness Center, you are fueling our mission and providing us with the opportunity to expand our reach and serve more patients in the central Ohio region.
