Welcome Back Chamberlain Students
“Chamberlain is committed to advancing the standards of nursing education and practice while facilitating the transformation of healthcare,” said Dr. W. Richard Cowling, vice president of academic affairs for Chamberlain College of Nursing.
Our partnership with the Chamberlain school will be back on Tuesdays starting March 3 and Thursdays starting March 5 – until April 21 and 23. We are very excited to have the students learn along side our physicians and are thrilled to know both organizations are making advancements in healthcare outcomes.
The Mobile Mammography is also back!
Helping Hands Health and Wellness Center has partnered with The James's Center for Cancer Health Equity to host their Mobile Mammography Unit at our clinic again for 2020. The first date is March 4th, so call to schedule your appointment today!
It's Tax Season and We Have Information
Tax season is upon us and we have the support you need to get your taxes filed. Appointments will be on Wednesdays and anyone that needs assistance can the clinic to schedule a meeting. We will have volunteers here to lend support to those individuals that need help filing their taxes. This service is provided at NO COST to the individual. If you or someone you know would like to schedule an appointment please call the clinic at 614-262-5094. Thank you.
Columbus Public Health: Immunizations
Immunizations will be offered on Thursday: March 5th and 19th! The vaccinations that will be offered for administration are as follows: flu vaccine, MMR, Tdap, and Hepatitis A shots. The shots will be available between 2pm-4:30 pm and anyone in the clinic can get a vaccination at no cost.
Thank You to Our New Partnership, The Wardrobe
Our new partnership, The Wardrobe, came to our clinic February 20th, 2020. It was a such an honor and our patients loved the clothing they received. We are really looking forward to The Wardrobe returning in May!
For those who are unfamiliar with The Wardrobe, it is a non-profit organization that provides clean, ready to wear, new and gently used children's/men/women's clothing.
If anyone has or wants to donate clothing to The Wardrobe, they request all donations be laundered/dry cleaned and donated neatly in a bag/box. The following are items that CANNOT be accept: items that are soiled, stained, or damaged undergarments (unless they are brand new in packaging); Pajamas/robes; Formal wear; Household items; Coats/hats/scarves; Shoes. Thank You.

Our Annual fundraiser, Bowl to Help, is approaching quickly and we need your help to make it great! We are looking for individuals that want to bring ideas and have their interests heard.
